Surveyor – Water Supply Projects
Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team for water supply infrastructure projects across Nepal. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in GPS surveying, Total Station operation, and leveling techniques. This role requires extensive field travel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct land and topographic surveys using GPS, Total Station, and leveling instruments.
- Conduct social survey of project area.
- Assist in planning and layout of water supply pipelines and structures.
- Record, digitize, and interpret field survey data for project design and implementation.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure data accuracy and project alignment.
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in GPS, Total Station, and leveling instruments.
- Basic knowledge of survey data processing and mapping software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in field conditions and adapt to various geographic regions.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel and work on-site approximately 60% of the time across different regions of Nepal.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply),
OR - Diploma in Civil Engineering with 1–2 years of relevant surveying experience.
